Members of the Upper Grand ETFO Executive made donations to the Children’s Foundation of Guelph & Wellington’s Food & Friends program this holiday season. The Food & Friends program was selected because it directly impacts the students that we teach, provides a valuable resource within our schools, and extends not only throughout Guelph & Wellington, but Dufferin County as well. In fact, almost all of our schools in Upper Grand are impacted by the breakfast, lunch, and snack programs that are supported. Executive members made contributions totalling $310 and this amount was matched by the Local through the Goodwill – Donations budget line. A cheque totalling $620 was presented to Anita Macfarlane, Community Program Director for the Food & Friends program.
