Elections Procedures

Elections for the 2016-2018 Upper Grand ETFO Teachers’ Local Executive will take place on Thursday, May 19, 2016.  Our Election Procedures have been updated and approved by the Executive.  Click here to see the Procedures.

Nominations have now closed.  Please see the List of Nominees for further information.

At the Fall Annual Meeting, the membership approved some changes to the Local Constitution. Starting next year, the Executive will be comprised of the following positions:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Chief Negotiator
  • Treasurer
  • Status of Women Chairperson
  • Executive Officers-Regional:  Dufferin County (2), Wellington County (2), Guelph (3)
  • Executive Officers-At-Large (5)

The President, Vice-President, and Chief Negotiator are full-time released positions.  The Treasurer is released 0.2.
